The team led by National Oil CEO and ENI B.V Kenya M.D, Nicola Salmaso, set up the hand washing units in various County &amp; Sub County Offices to allow \u00a0members of the public visiting the offices to uphold hand washing practices outside of their houses.<\/p>\n<p>Following universal proof that hand washing is the most effective way of reducing the spread of disease causing pathogens, including COVID-19, hand hygiene is of extreme importance. It is for this reason that the Corporation has set up these hand washing units in government and administrative offices in the two counties which are often frequented by members of the public. This is a measure that is expected to ensure the spread of the virus is contained.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 units are locally assembled and foot operated providing a hands-free practice that ensures the hands are not re-contaminated after washing. It is also sustainable and limits water wastage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to offer our support in the fight against the virus.
